The action thriller Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag has been released on August 31, 2007 and was bannered under Adlabs Films Ltd. The movie has been produced and directed by the famous director Ram Gopal Varma. The lead roles were played by Amitabh Bachchan, Mohanlal, Nisha Kothari, Ajay Devgan and Sushmita Sen while Gaurav Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Abhishek Bachchan and Urmila Matondkar were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Prasana Shekhar and Ganesh Hegde while the songs were sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Vinod Rathod, Sukhwinder Singh, Shreya Ghosal and Sudesh Bhosle.

Bollywood’s greatest hit Sholay is the favorite film of almost all of us but Ramu dared to remake the film and came with his Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag. The movie was earlier titled as Ram Gopal Varma Ke Sholay. The story of the film is identical to the original one but what it lacked was the acting skills of the actors employed. Babban ( Amitabh Bachchan ) loves challenges and so the people who challenges him. He identifies the other people as a mere toy for his entertainment. Hirendra Chavan ( Ajay Devgan ) dreamed to have the whole city but didn’t even have enough money to even buy a meal for himself.

Raj Ranade ( Prashant Raj ) is the childhood friend of Hirendra and is extremely faithful to him. Narsimha ( Mohanlal ), the self made man has always eyes focused on Babban. Ghungroo ( Nisha Kothari ) plays the role of Hema Mailni, and is driving a rickshaw which she calls Laila. The lady rickshaw driver knows most of the shortcuts and the least known roads. Durga Devi ( Sushmita Sen ) is a nurse whose life is filled with emotions, first love the tragedy. Babban, the gangster, is the cruelest and dangerous one would find.
