Rudraksh was a Sci-Fi movie released on February 13, 2004 under the banner of Karma Entertainment. The movie was directed by Mani Shankar and produced by Nitin Manmohan. The main roles were played by Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu, Sunil Shetty and Isha Koppikar while special roles were played by Amitabh Bachchan and Nigar Khan. The music of the film was directed by Vishal-Shekhar and the songs were sung by Shankar Mahadevan, Krishna, Richa Sharma, Mahalakshmi Iyer and Shaan.

The movie Rudraksh is produced on a genre that has never been explored before in the Bollywood. It is somewhat a different and strange film based on the genre of fantasy and sci-fi. Gayatri’s experiments bring her with her team from America to India where she meets Varun ( Sanjay Dutt ). Varun is not a normal man as he is gifted with paranormal powers. Gayatri was impressed with this power of him and her experiments let him guess the existence of dark powers. Varun gets drawn into the chase of these powers that takes him to Himalayas and then into the mysterious ruins of the legendary King Ravan’s palaces in Lanka. Varun then finally gets to know the secret of Rudraksh.
