Saawan - The Love Season was a romantic movie that was released on April 6, 2006. The movie was directed and produced by Sawan Kumar Tak. The actors in the significant roles were Salman Khan, Kapil Jhaveri, Saloni Aswani and Kiran Rathod while the supporting roles were played by Prem Chopra, Ranjeet and Bobby Darling. The music of the film was directed by Aadesh Shrivastava, Sajid and Wajid while the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Aadesh Shrivastava amongst the others.

The movie Saawan named after the name of the director Sawan Kumar is about a man who predicts future. This man knows it all whether it is a person’s death at 9 pm or it is some accident going to take place. The theme of the movie is that the hero and heroine are dancing and romancing till this man enters and warns them about their future. Raj ( Kapil Jhaveri ) and Kajal ( Saloni Aswani ) meets in Cape Town and soon fall in love. Even, to their surprise, their fathers Ranjeet and Prem Chopra are friends. Thus their engagement date is fixed on Kajal’s birthday.

One day Kajal comes across a man ( Salman Khan ) who saves her from an accident and also warns her that her father will die at 9 pm on the same night. Shockingly this comes true and thus she wanted to know about her future. He tells her that she is going to die Friday that is two days later. She believes him and now wanted to enjoy her life to the fullest. Both the actors Kapil and Saloni have done a great job considering that it was their first movie.
