Sheesha was a musical love triangle that was released on October 3, 1986. The movie was directed by Basu Chatterjee and produced by Sattee Shourie. The actors in the lead roles were Mithun Chakraborty, Vijayendra Ghatge, Moon Moon Sen and Bhagwan Sinha while the presence of Malika Sarabhai, Suresh Chatwal, Mrinalini, Naaz and Sudha Chopra supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri.

Sheesha was a musical cum romantic movie that revolved mostly around a man named Dinesh Prakash ( Mithun Chakraborty ) who is in deep love with a girl of her college since his college days. Dinesh and Manisha ( Moon Moon Sen ) loved each other since then and now have decided to get married to each other soon. Dinesh is also employed as n Executive Director in a good and reputed organization and thus is settled to make good money to earn a comfortable living.

Both Manisha and Dinesh get married to each other and both lives a happy married life now. Manisha is now a housewife. Manisha is a Gemini born on the 10th of June, while Dinesh is a Sagittarius born on the 15th of December. It was Dinesh’s birthday and both of them decide to celebrate the occasion by inviting their friends to their place. Everyone was at their home except the birthday boy Dinesh himself who is in a prison and facing the charge of rape.
