Bollywood movie, Shehzaade, directed by Raj N. Sippy and written by Anwar Khan was released on October 20, 1989. The movie starred Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles while Shatrughan Sinha, Sharat Saxena, Jayapradha, Mahesh Anand, Moushami Chatterjee, Danny Denzongpa, Puneet issar and Kimi Katkar also played significant characters in the film. The music of the movie was composed by the very famous music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Amit Kumar Ganguly, Shabbir Kumar, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Alka Yagnik, Anuradha Paudwal etc.

The movie starts with Suraj Singh ( Shatrughan Sinha ), who can not stand injustice in any case and his this behaviour gets him in problem everytime. Police inspector Shankar Srivastava ( Dharmendra ) is very irritated with Suraj and ask him to stop interfering in other’s problems. Suraj then meets with a old man named Subedar Zoravar Singh ( Dharmendra ) and brings him in his home after seeing his bad condition. Zoravar pretends to be a very nice human being in front of Suraj but actually he is a former prisoner and has just completed his jail period.

Suraj finds out that Zoravar has some connection with his mother, Padmini, which they both are trying to hide from him. Suraj decides to learn about Zoravar. He finds out that Zoravar was senetenced for prison for killing several people and also for raping a women named Gauri Srivastava ( Jayapradha ), who is now more alive in this wolrd. he also revelas that Inpsector Shankar is also in the search of Zoravar as he seekf revnege from him for the death of Gauri. What will Suraj do now?
