Short Kut - The Con is On is a comedy film that is going to release on July 10, 2009 under the banner of Anil Kapoor Films Company. The movie is being directed by Neeraj Vora and Roshan Andrews while the movie was produced by Anil Kapoor. The main roles in the movie are played by Akshaye Khanna, Amrita Rao, Arshad Warsi and Simi Garewal while the presence of Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Chunky Pandey, Ali Asgar and Haider Ali supported the film. The music of the film is being directed by Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonca while the songs are sung by Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Shreya Ghosal, Javed Ali, Nikita Nigam, Kirti Sagathia and Hrishikesh Kamerkar.

Short Kut - The Con is On is one of the greatest comedy films ready to be released soon in Bollywood. The story of the movie revolves mostly around two people Raju ( Arshad Warsi ) and Shekhar ( Akshaye Khanna ). Raju and Shekhar both are strugglers till one day they discovered what their potential actually are. The movie takes a turn when one day, Raju come across a script that makes him a famous superstar while Shekhar turns to be a famous director.

The movie begins with the introductionof a famous actress Mansi ( Amrita Rao ). The day she comes in contact with Shekhar leads the duo to fall in love with each other. Shekhar and Mansi takes their love to the next level and marries each other. On the other hand, she was professionally linked with Raju. The destinies of the two male leads had something else in store when Shekhar is set to direct his first film, with Superstar Raju.
