The musical drama film Showbiz was released on December 28, 2007 under the banner of Vishesh Films. The movie is directed by Raju Khan and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The major roles in the film were played by Tushar Jalota, Mrinalini Sharma, Gulshan Grover and Sushant Singh whereas roles of Saurabh Shukla, Sachin Khedekar, Amin Hajee and Delnaz Paul were also significant. The music of the film was directed by Lalit Pandit and the singers of the film were K K, Shaan and Shreya Ghosal.

The movie Showbiz is not only a debut film of the actors Tushar Jalota, Mrinalini Sharma but was also a debut film of the famous choreographer Raju Khan as the director. Who does not wish to have glamour with him, who doesn’t like getting popular? But staying in this industry is not easy and this is what is depicted in this film. The fame is not free and comes with a price. The story of the film is about Rohan ( Tushar Jalota ) who is on the verge to start his dream career, has a beautiful girlfriend and everything that one can dream. But the star who got famous suddenly was disliked by many.

All of a sudden when everything was going good for him suddenly he finds himself in a trap. There were four people who wanted to steal everything he’s got, from him and deicded to make him something from which they can gather news. Rohan had been looking a prostitute Tara and it was when he found her, the two were trapped in a chase which met an accident. The dreadful accident caught Tara in coma and the media also made life worse for Rohan who then had to face the news of his attachment to a prostitute. The news left people guessing what connection he had with a prostitute.
