The romantic comedy Silsila Hai Pyar Ka was released on April 16, 1999. The movie was directed by Sharbani Deodhar and produced by N N Sippy. The main roles in the movie were played by Karisma Kapoor, Danny Denzongpa, Chandrachur Singh and Aruna Irani while the supporting roles were played by Shakti Kapoor and Alok Nath. The music of the film was directed by Jatin Pandit and Lalit Pandit while the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Anuradha Paudwal, Kumar Sanu, Vinod Rathod and Alka Yagnik.

The story of the movie Silsila Hai Pyar Ka was all ususal and had nothing unique in it. The theme of the movie is about a rich and spoilt guy who loves girls and parties. He falls in love with a girl who is trying to make her career in this big but bad city. The movie is like a fairy tale and the romance in the movie is like one set in today’s environment. The story of the movie is about Vanshika Mathur ( Karishma Kapoor ) who is an orphan living with her aunt ( Aruna Irani ).

Since Vanshika is a middle class girl requiring a job to run her family, she gets one with Mr. Sinha ( Alok Nath ). Mr. Sinha is a widower who has a son Abhay ( Chandrachur Singh ) whereas Abhay lived with his maternal uncle Rakesh ( Shakti Kapoor ). Rakesh is a four time divorcee for whom enjoying life is the primary goal. Abhay was quite impressed by his Uncle’s nature and arrogance. Mr. Sinha was worried about his son’s reliability and efficiency and wanted him to send office and do some work there.
