Bollywood romantic comedy flick, Stop, directed by Ajai Sinha was released on November 5, 2004. The movie starred Rocky Bhatia and Gauri Karnik in lead roles while ishita arun, Om Puri, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Ali Asgar, Himani Shivpuri, Diya Mirza, Harsh Chhaya and Suzzane Bernert also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known music director duo Vishal-Shekhar while the songs were rendered by Sonu Nigam, Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan etc.

Four home-mates named Pooja ( Gauri Karnik ), Sonia ( Ishita Arun ), Tina ( Tejaswini Kolhapure ) and Om ( Rocky Bhatia ) are living in Dubai. All of them are in totally different profession and lives a carefree lifestyle. Pooja is a radio host, Om works in an office, Tina is a struggling actress and Sonia runs a botique. Pooja’s boss is eyeing on her and wants to spend a night with her. Pooja’s parents ask her to meet with a guy named Rahul. Pooja learns that her parenst actually wants her to get married with Rahul. She made promise to them that she will marry Rahul.

Tina’s father, Anand Mehra ( Om Puri ) is an alcoholic. Tina tries to avoid him all the time but he always comes to take money from her. Sonia is irritated with a person named Rohit ( Kiran Janjani ), who thinks that Sonia is in love with him. Sonia is very well known about Rahul and his womanizer nature and therefore tries to avoid him. Om is in love with a beautiful girl named Shama ( Diya Mirza ) and wants to get married to her. But Shama gets married to another guy named Pawan.
