The movie Sunday was released on January 25, 2008 under the banner of Big Screen Entertainer and comes under the genre of comedy thriller. The movie has been directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Kumar Mangat and Sunil Lulla. The actors in the lead roles were Ayesha Takia, Arshad Warsi, Ajay Devgan and Irrfan Khan while they were supported by Anjana Sukhani and Mukesh Tiwari along with the special appearances by Tusshar Kapoor and Esha Deol. The music directors of the movie are Daler Mehndi, Shibani Kashyap, Raghav Sachar and Sandeep Chowta while the singers are Mahua Kamat, Suraj, Earl and Kamran Bari.

The movie Sunday has enough quality to thrill the audience along with making them laugh. The story of the film starts with Seher ( Ayesha Takia ) who is working in a dubbing studio due to her talent of producing sounds of different cartoon characters but was later suspected for a murder. ACP Rajvir Randhva ( Ajay Devgan ) is a police officer not different from others and has a habit of taking bribes from anyone committing illegal activities. He gets engaged in murder mystery where he comes across his fiancée Seher. Kumar ( Irrfan Khan ) is a struggling actor who wished to make his name through his acting skills until a day he come across a girl who claims herself as a dead woman.

Ballu ( Arshad Warsi ) is a taxi driver who usually tours the foreigners and didn’t mind stuffing them. Seher has a short term memory and misses out a day, Sunday when some violent incidents took place on her. Rajvir gets the case in his hands and decides to unscrew the complicated things. Rajvir finds that Seher interacted with several people on that day who includes Ballu and his friend Kumar who were there in a taxi at midnight, few boys at a party who tried to misbehave with her and her friend Ritu ( Anjana Sukhani ). The mystery deepens and points to Seher but she can’t remember anything.
