Bollywood star, Sunny Deol, was born as Ajay Singh Deol on October 19, 1956 in New Delhi , India. He is a son of famous actor Dharmendra. His younger brother Bobby Deol and sister Esha Deol are also successful bollywood stars. He is married to Pooja Deol and they have two children. He did his graduation from Podar College, Mumbai. He made his acting debut with a blockbuster movie titled Betaab in the year 1983. He was co-starred by Amrita Singh in the film. He delievered some flop movies such as Sunny, Sohni Mahival etc. Then came his first pure action flick Arjun. The movie changed his image to an action hero.

He worked in a series of flop films such as Sultanat, Samundar, Nighaein, Joshilay etc. He played one of the leading man in action flcik Tridev. The movie did well at the box office. But his breakthrough role came in the 1990 released flick Ghayal. He even won the Filmfare Best Actor award for his excellent performance in the film. Then he delievered a series of hit films of action genre in the form of Vishwatma, Ghatak, Ajay etc. He once again gave a splendid performance in the role of an Army man in epic war film Border.

He continued with his macho man image and delivered back to back hit films in the form of Champion, Farz etc. Then came one of the most successful bollywood film of Sunny, Gadar : Ek Prem Katha. The movie established new records at the box office. His last hit film was Apne in which he was seen alongwith father, Dharmendra and brother, Bobby Deol. The film was a super hit in India. Right now he is busy in his forthcoming movie titled Heroes.
