The roamanic action movie Talaash… The Hunt Begins was released on January 3, 2003 under the banner of Chiragdeep International. The movie was directed by Suneel Darshan and produced by Pahlaj Nihalani. The important roles were played by Akshay Kumar, Pooja Batra, Kareena Kapoor and Raj Babbar while the supporting roles were played by Gulshan Grover and Shakti Kapoor. Music of the film was directed by Darshan and the songs were sung by Vasundhara Das, Anuradha Sriram, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan.

The movie Talaash was directed by Suneel Darshan and was filled with scenes that remind us the movies like Baazigar and Meri Jung. The movie starts well but steer towards a wrong direction when there is entry of Kareena Kapoor. The name of the movie gives the idea of its story as well. Talaash is a story of a man trying to find a way out of the hurdles that come along his way. The story of the movie is mostly about a man named Arjun ( Akshay Kumar ) who is a brave guy and takes life as it comes.

Arjun is looking for something and this is what the movie explores. He soon realize that only Tina ( Kareena Kapoor ) can help him with what he is looking for. She is an important link with his search and the problem arises when she left India with her father to South Africa, before he can contact her. Keeping in mind his mother’s deteriorating health, Arjun goes to South Africa to find Tina but could not locate her.
