Bollywood actress, Tanisha Mukherjee, was born on January 1, 1978 in Mumbai, India. She is the daughter of former bollywood actress Tanuja and the sister of beautiful bollywood actress Kajol. She had an affair with Uday Chopra in the past but the broke up recently. Tanisha made her Hindi film debut with a super flop film titled Sssshhh…. She played the femle lead opposite stylish bollywood hunk, Dino Moreo. After that she was seen in a low budget film titled Popcorn Khao Mast Ho Jao which also failed to do anything good for her acting career.

She did a small cameo role in Ajay Devgan and Bobby Deol starrer Tango Charlie. She delievered her first film in the form of Ram Gopal Verma’s Sarkar in which she shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan. She was then starred opposite her boyfriend Uday Chopra in Yashraj’s Neal ‘N’ Nikki. She wore some very skimfy outfits for the first time in the film. However, her new found sexy image also failed to do anything well for the film success.

She then moved towards South film industry and delievered a big hit titled Kantri in which another bollywood actress Hansika Motwani was also seen. Then she worked in multistarrer comedy flick titled One Two Three in which she was paired opposite Upen Patel. The movie managed to do average business at the box office window. Her last released film was Sarkar Raj which also performed well at the box office.
