Bollywood romantic musical drama, Teen Devian, directed by Amarjeet and written by Sadashiv Brahmam was released in the year 1965. The movie starred Dev Anand and Nanda in lead roles while Simi Grewal, Kalpana, Rashid Khan, I. S. Johar, Ravikant, Rashid Khan and Harindranath Chattopadhyay also played important characters in the film. The melodious evergreen music of the movie was directed by the veteran music director Sachin Dev Burman while the songs were Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Rahul Dev Burman, Lata mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle etc.

Young and handsome Devdutt Anand ( Dev Anand ) is living a middle class life. He is working in a company selling musical instruments. But he is not in the good books of his boss, I. S. Johar ( I. S. Johar ) because of his habit of always coming late to work. Devdutt starts getting more attention from his boss, when he reveals that Dev has a talent for writing poems. Dev’s boss starts publishing the poems written by Dev and soon they both becomes very famous. Dev is now a well known poet.

Dev come across a beautiful girl named Nanda ( Nanda ), who has just arrived to live in his neighbourhood. After few meetings, they both get attracted towards with each other. Dev then come across a bollywood actress, Kalpana ( Kalpana ) and get attracted towards her as well. Kalpana also starts liking him. A women named Simi ( Simi Grewal ) also get attracted towards Dev after hearing his poems. Now Dev is in confusion that with whom of the three girls he is really in love with.
