Bollywood romantic comedy flick, Vishwas, directed by Keval P. Kashyap and written by Brij Katyal was released in the year 1969. The movie starred Jeetendra and Kamini kaushal in lead roles while Aparna sen, Rajendra nath, Asit Sen, Manmohan, Bharat Bhushan, Krishan Dhawan, Dulari and Gulshan Bawra also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by the well knwon veteran music director duo, kalyanji-Anandji while the songs were rendered by Mukesh, Mahendra kapoor, Manhar Udhas, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle and Suman Kalyanpur.

The movie starts with a young, beautiful and very ambitious girl named Neena ( Kamini Kaushal ), who lives a poor lifestyle alongwith her parents. Her marraige is arranged with a rich guy but could not take place of some reason. She then get married to Ramnath ( Bharat Bhushan ). But she still wants to live a wealthy lifestyle and therefore starts living a parallel life. Even after the birth of a child, he nature not changes at all. She steals a necklace and puts blame on Ramnath. Ramnath is then arrested by police and is sentenced to prison for a long time.

Years later, Ramnath is released from jail. But he get shocked to learn that there are no clues of Neena and his son, Ravi. Ravi ( Jeetendra ) is working as a forest ranger. Neena, who is a criminal now, reveals that ravi is her child and ask him to move in with her. However, ravi refuse to accept her proposal. Ravi then meets with a beautiful rich girl named Radha Banerjee ( Aparna Sen ) and aflls in love with her. But he get shocked to learn that Neena is the aunt of Radha.
