Waqt Ka Shahenshah was an action film released in the year of 1987. The movie was directed by K Bapaiah. The key roles in the movie were enacted by Sridevi, Annapoorna and Krishna while Rao Gopal Rao, Prabhakar Reddy and Shyamala were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the songs were sung by Mohammad Aziz, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Lata Mangeshkar, Suresh Wadkar, Kishore Kumar and Hariharan.

Waqt Ka Shahenshah was an action movie that revolved mostly around a girl named Kanchan Mahalakshmi who is also known popularly as Lakshmi ( Sridevi ). Lakshmi does some different job of selling sarees on installment basis while travelling on cycle and visiting houses door to door. This was not all in her life as she was also required to look after her family consisting of her father Raghunath who is a drunkard and her disabled mother Savitri.

Lakshmi liked a guy named Manoj ( Krishna ) who is a farmer. She loved him from the bootom of her heart and even Manoj was respected by his fellow farmers. The reason for their likings is that he always comes helpful whenever the owner of the sugar factory Bishambarnath treated the farmers with disrespect. Bishambar decides to separate Lakshmi and Manoj by revealing that Manoj’s mother Rajeshwari is in jail on charge of a murder.
