Woh Lamhe was a social romantic movie released on September 29, 2006 under the banner of Vishesh Films. The movie had been directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The top roles in the film were played by Shiney Ahuja, Shaad Randhawa, Kangna Ranaut, Purab Kohli and Masumi Makhija whereas the roles of Anita Wahi, Preeti Kopikar and Ram Prakash were also significant. Music of the film had been directed by Pritam Chakraborty and Roop Kumar Rathod while the songs were sung by K K, Shreya Ghosal, James and Kunal Ganjawala.

Director Mohit Suri had been busy producing many films, his last two were Zeher and Kalyug but Who Lamhe is believed to be different from them as it is believed to be inspired from the real story of relations of Mahesh Bhatt with late Parveen Babi. The tale of the film revolves mostly around Sana Azim ( Kangana Ranaut ) who is a Bollywood superstar dominated by her boyfriend Nikhil ( Shaad Randhawa ) who is debuting with this film. Nikhil is the person who takes most of the decisions for her and it seems that she is like a puppet in his hand.

Aditya Garewal ( Shiney Ahuja ) has just stepped into the world of direction and is an aspiring director. He is eager to cast Sana in his debut film and wants her as the lead actress at any cost. Gradually he found himself in love with her. At this point of time audiences also start believing that she is not only insecure and lonely but also suffering from schizophrenia, a mental disorder, and she believes that everyone out wants to kill her. Aditya hoped that he could cure her but one day she moved out of his life as she didn’t want to be a burden on him. They again meet in a hospital three years later when Sana tried to kill her.
