Sanjay Khan is a devote Muslim but people from his family have been married into other religions and are living happily. An example is his daughter Suzanne Khan who is married to Hrithik Roshan. Sanjay is well known for his characterization of Tipu Sultan. The serial was a popular one on television in the old days and now he is planning to make a movie of the Ramayana.

Zayed Khan has come out with the confirmation saying that a movie is indeed being planned and scripted on those lines. The movie has been titled The Legend Of Rama. His father has been working on the project for close to three years. He always wanted Hrithik to play the charcter of Lord Rama but he was not available due to his busy schedule and he was on a look out for someone else to play the role.

Now that Hrithik has the dates with him, he is most likely to play the part. Zayed will portray the character of his younger brother Laxman in the movie. Zayed in fact jokingly said tha playing a younger brother was indeed the story of his life. He was last seen playing younger brother to Salman Khan in the Subhash Ghai directorial movie Yuvraaj.

None other than Amitabh Bachchan will play the character of Dashrath. The script will not be modernized but it will be shot in a way The Lord Of The Rings was shot. The screenplay of the movie will be inspired from the Shakespearean style. Raj Kumar Santoshi has also announced a movie to be made on the epic of Ramayana.
