Not many actors would have let an opportunity like this go by but then not all of them are Hrithik Roshan. He very recently turned down an enticing role by Karan Johar. Karan is all set to remake the classic Agneepath, which starred Amitabh Bachchan. Remember the name Vijay Deenanath Chavan does it ring a bell. Who can forget the superlative performance put in by the Big B.

The reason for turning down the role by Hrithik is unknown but it is now being believed that Abhishek Bachchan will play the role that his father made so famous. Now giving him company will be none other than Riteish Deshmukh. They share an amazing chemistry on screen in the movie Bluffmaster and will be hoping to repeat the magic and even go one better.

Riteish will play the role of Krishnan Iyer MA, which in the original movie was played by Mithun Chakraborty. He even went on to win the Filmfare award for the performance in the best supporting actor category. Now two names are in the running to play the villain Kancha Cheena that was played by Danny Denzongpa in the original. Vivek Oberoi or Irrfan Khan are the likely candidates to bag the role.

Now nothing has been revealed as to who will be the female leads in the movie. In the original flick the female lead were played by Madhavi and Neelam .Hrithik made a mistake when he turned down movies like Swades and Hum Tum. Will Hrithik regret turning down the part only time will tell?
