I owe an apology to Dhoni: Ram Gopal Varma
Ram Gopal Varma seems to have made a habit out of doing something wrong intentionally or unintentionally and then feel sorry for it. First, it was the song in the movie Rann in which he tampered with our national anthem. He later apologized. Then he stuck up those dump corpses along with the hoarding so his movie Agyaat. After a few days, he was again seen, apologizing to the public if he had harmed their sentiments.
In both the cases, he said that the mistake was unintentional. Now again he has committed a huge blunder unintentionally. While he was sitting in the lounge of the Bangalore airport, Mahendra Singh Dhoni who appreciated his work and wanted to tell him that approached him. However, Ramu failed to recognize the biggest start in the Indian cricket team at the moment and thought that he was an upcoming actor who wanted to give him his portfolio.
Therefore, he brushed him aside saying that he should come and give his photos in the office. Dhoni stunned by the reaction left and it was only then that people around Ramu told him that he was Dhoni. Ramu said that he owed Dhoni an apology and would make sure he gives him that apology the next time they meet.
As far as any upcoming actors approaching Ramu is concerned he is the last director with whom a new comer would want to make a debut with considering the string of flops that he has given in the last year or so. The debacle of Agyaat might haunt him for some time unless his next movie goes on to be a hit.
