ShortKut - The Con Is On has opened to vey average reviews but Arshad Warsi is very upbeat about his performance and says that whosoever goes to watch the movie will have a good time and will enjoy the comedy in the movie. Speaking of his performance in the movie, he says that he plays a villain whom everybody will love and hate.

He divided his performance into three parts. First, there is a part where he plays the struggling actor and then come the second part where he plays a super star with all the stardom. The third part is the phase where he turns into a bad actor. That he says was especially a tough one for him. First for the obvious reason he does not consider himself that bad an actor and secondly it is shown that his character has two left feet, which is not the case with him.

When asked whether he tried to copy any actor while trying to do those bad actor scenes he escaped with a diplomatic reply saying that he picked up nuances and lines from some actors which will be evident to us when we watch the movie. He says that the movie is not a laugh riot and there are serious scenes in the movie too. There are some dramatic scenes involving Akshaye Khanna.

So hilarious were the dialogues in the movie that he ends up laughing whenever he even thinks of them. Neeraj Vora who has directed the movie will be hoping that the audience reviews come out to be better than what critics have given to the movie.
