One movie can change many a thing for someone looking to find a strong foot hold in the industry. Imtiaz Ali achieved that after he directed the movie Jab We Met starring Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur. Now after that Imtiaz has become a force to reckon with the going on to become the highest grosser and bagging most of the popular awards.

He even started to get appreciation for his earlier movies like Socha Na Tha. His next movie Love Aaj Kal is a highly anticipated one and that is just because of that one big hit. Now with his last movie with Saif Ali Khan all completed and ready, it will be time to move onto new and bigger things for him. He is having some ideas that he is having in his mind and one of them includes a sequel to Jab We Met.

Ever since the movie came out, he has had a burning question in his head as to what will happen to his two main characters Geet and Aditya. They are way apart from each other in terms of personalities and both are so strong personas that there are bound to be problems. What happens to their relationship? He is also contemplating bringing back the person Geet dumps and moves on.

Another thing that might prove as a hindrance is casting Shahid and Kareena once again post their split. He wants to relive the experience he had while shooting Jab We Met travelling to almost all the corners of the country. Now he might have to take his decision very quick as Aditya Kapoor who is the son of Shammi Kapoor is coming up with his own script Jab We Slept on the same lines.
