Konkona Sen Sharma is one actress how always seem to get excellent reviews from the critics. There are not many actors in the industry that can make a claim to such a feat. She has even won a national award. Until date her best performance shave come in movies like Mr. & Mrs. Iyer, Page 3 and Omkara. Now unlike her characters in the movie she is not all a serious person in her real life.

She recently confessed that in all her movies, she might come across as a very morally correct and serious kind of girl but that is in complete contrast to what she is in real life. The image has just stuck with her since she keeps on doing roles that show he in that light. She is in no mood to go in for an image makeover though and she is happy with the image that she has currently.

It is something that she has not chosen for herself she just went ahead with the roles that appealed to her and they all turned out be serious ones. The advantages of that image she says are that all the people consider her to be very brainy girl and nobody dares mess up with her on the sets of a movie, which she quite likes.

She is currently doing Wake Up Sid along Ranbir Kapoor currently. In the movie, her charcter Ayesha Banerjee has returned to Mumbai after completing her masters. The story is about her friendship with Sid who is a complete opposite of her in life. She is also doing a movie Mirch in which she will be seen playing a double role for the first time.
