Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has said no to the Mira Nair’s next film. Konkona Sen Sharma is doing the female lead in the film though. However initially he was very much a part of the film but after reading the script just decided to walked out from the project without giving a second thought to it.

According to Irrfan, the movie was just a series of short films for Cannes and hence decided to opt out. However, Mira refused to let him go until she found a replacement in the form of Ranbir Shorey of Mithya fame. But Irrfan is very much a part of Mira’s Kosher Vegetarian.

Irrfan also praises his co-star Natalie Portman in Kosher Vegetarian for playing her complex role in such a beautiful and easy way. The movie is based on the meeting of two strangers in unusual circumstances. According to Irrfan, he really enjoyed working with her in the movie.

Irrfan admits that he truely respects Mira as a wonderful moviemaker. And he would love to do some more films with her in future.
