Bollywood is more often known for the sweet heart throbbing music. However, here comes an exception that promises heart stopping action – Ghajini, as shown in some of the trailers prior to the movie release. Moreover, there have been small chit chats in which there have been little dissatisfactions regarding the length of the movie, which is around three long hours. In general the movies are round about two and a half hours or a little longer, allowing the different distributors in the theaters to space them within the scheduled time slots.

With the stretch of three hours, the movie seems to have disrupted the basic schedule followed by the several upcoming multiplexes across the nation. Considering that these are the places of major attraction in the bigger townships and cities the distributors could well be worried. The producer, Madhu Mantena, on the other hand seemed unmoved by the situation and suggested that movies should not be measured by their time limits, but by the caliber that has been depicted in them. Mantena suggests that the performance in the movie is outstanding.

He went onto say that the movie of two hours does not necessarily mean that it would be terrific. It is better to have a three hours gripping sensation than two hours boredom. Seemingly confident about the Christmas release, the producer has made his point clear that the multiplexes would not regret playing the movie through its entire length.

Now you can only wait and watch what the Jiah Khan, Asin and ever matured Aamir Khan has to give to the worldwide fans, eagerly awaiting this movie. Let us just hope for the time being that the confidence of both, the producer over the film’s credibility and the multiplexes over the director, are paid well in the long run.
