Looks like it is the turn of John Abraham to turn west to do a movie in Hollywood this time around. The actor has been offered a role in the movie American Empire. The movie will be based on the life of a hitman and the woman he loves. Andy Armstrong who is riding high on the success of his television series The New Adventures of Robin Hood will be seen directing this one.

John has yet not confirmed to the role. The actor is currently in the process of reading the script. If it all goes well he will very soon be a part of this gangsta movie. The movie is slated to have a lot of violence in it with the main characters belonging to the underworld filled of anger and hatred. His performance in the movie Water that earned him very good review worldwide might have fetched him this role.

He is also riding high on the success of his last movie Dostana in which put on a brilliant show with Abhishek Bachchan. The two acted to be gay in order to rent a place. He has also stripped off in his movie New York. There is something going on these days with so many male leads stripping down in movies. His co-star in the movie Neil Nitin Mukesh will also be seen naked in the movie Jail that is being directed by Madhur Bhandarkar.

The scenes have been shot aesthetically and the directors have made sure that they do not look vulgar of obscene. The actor recently dropped out of the movie Chenab Gandhi as Bipasha Basu did not want him to share the screen space with Vidya Balan.
