David Dhawan had made the audiences laugh for a long time now and now when his son Rohit has decided to make his debut as a director he has gone for the same genre. Whether he goes on to be as successful as his father in tickling the funny bone of the audience’s remains to be seen. He seems to be having the right actors to work with though. Akshay Kumar and John Abraham will play the lead roles in the movie.

The duo have worked together earlier in the movie Garam Masala which was one of the highest grosser that year. They will be bringing their A game and it has been heard that they were be showing off their well-built physiques. The movie will be shot at the beautiful locales worldwide. The movie will be one of the biggest releases next year when it hits the theatres sometime in the middle of next year.

Actually, this was not supposed to the first directorial movie of Rohit. He was to make his debut with Come On Pappu that too starring Akshay but the movie had to be put on hold for some time. The movie was to be co produced by Akshay’s company Hari Om Productions and Percept Picture Company. Come On Pappu had Sonam Kapoor as the lead female with guest performances out in by Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan.

When the project was delayed, it was then that Akshay decided to make this movie with John, as he was very excited when Rohit read him the script. He will try to reproduce the magic of Mujhse Shaadi Karogi that was directed by Rohit’s father.
