Filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi has announced that she would be very glad to work with bollywood queen Deepika Padukone. Reportedly the script she wrote keeping Aishwarya in mind, she wants Deepika to lead in that.

On being asked about the reason, Kalpana said that Deepika is the only girl in the industry who has the old world grace which comes naturally to few old stars like Madhuri and Aishwarya. According to her no other girl in the industry has this quality. She also said that the script of her latest venture ‘Singhasan’, which she wrote keeping Aishwarya in mind, should now be played by Deepika.

Singhasan is basically a political drama, where Kalpana wants Deepika to play a politician. She earlier wanted Aish to play the role of the politician, but now would be gladder if Deepika does it.

But the director is not sure about the response from Deepika’s side. According to her, Deepika has back-to-back hits and is right now at a great height in the industry, on the other hand, Kalpana considers herself as a down director. So she does not expect Deepika to agree at once.

Kalpana on discussing about herself said that director like her faces many problems in the industry. The problem comprises of many thing, and the prime being Finances. Kalpana has made movies like Chingari and Daman. Her last films and their box-office reviews also make Kalpana sure that. Deepika would not accept her proposal.

Kalpana also said that along with so many problems in this industry, she has to face few more being a woman. Her last few films may not be a hit and may not have done very well at the box-office but all her movies were well acclaimed by the critics. Her subjects and the motive behind the movies have always been social as well as worth appreciating.
