Kamagata Maru is going to be one of the biggest releases of the year. The movie is being directed by ace director Deepa Mehta and stars Akshay Kumar. The movie will also see Shriya Saran and Vinay Virmani. For all those who do not know Shriya saran was last seen in Awarapan alongside Emraan Hashmi. She also gave the biggest Tamil hit Sivaji-The Boss alongside Rajnikanth. She has also had her first international release The Other End Of The Line. The movie also stars Jesse Matcalfe of the Desperate Housewives fame.

Vinay Virmani on the other hand is the son of Akshay’s friend Mr. Ajay Virmani who is a businessperson working in Toronto. Vinay got the role not because of Akshay but because of his acting talent. He has done a course at Lee Strasberg Institute. There is no way I will cast a person if he has no talent and will not be able to do justice to the character. She says that she is very happy with the kind of work Vinay and Shriya have out in.

She has also hired Tamara Deverell to work on the ship. The ship will have an old look as the original one was also old used to transport Indian immigrants. Deepa says that hard part will be show the beauty of tha t old look of the ship. It will not be the kind or work as you saw in Titanic, as the ship used in that movie was new one.

The movie has already made a lot of news and there are reports saying that this is the best movie that Akki has done so far in his career.
