Karan Johar applied seeking to shoot at a tube station in London for his movie. The authorities denied him permission to shoot of the movie saying that the movie was related to terrorism and that they wanted no such movie to be shot at the station. All the plans and schedules of the movie have to be moved forward now due to this denial by the authorities in London. Last year the movie Shoot At Sight was shot at the same train station.

Renzil d’Silvais another director who was denied permission to shoot his movie in the tube station in London. The movie stars Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Om Puri. The location of the shoot had to be changed to Philadelphia, U.S.A where they managed to get the permission for the shoot. Now the actors will not be happily accepting the role of a terrorist. Nobody wants the audiences to have such a bad image of them in their minds.

Actor Om Puri says that we need to think before we make a movie on terrorism these days. We need to think how the movie will accepted across the borders. We should not unnecessarily give them a reason for more acts of terrorism like the one in Mumbai. He also added that you need to get to understand that mind of a terrorist .He says that the movie is a step in that direction. He says that now the actors will not be happily accepting the role of a terrorist.

Last year Naseeruddin Shah beautifully played the role of a citizen who wants these terrorists to be punished. Let us hope that Karan’s movie My Name Is Khan will be completed soon without any further postponements of schedules.
