Karan Johar is known as a person who always stand besides his friends in every need. He was seen doing a cameo in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om for his best buddy Shahrukh Khan. And now the news is that he will be seen once again on silver screen in a film supposed to be made by Ekta Kapoor.

Infact, Karan will make an appearance in two movies this year. One would be Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion starring Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut in it while other is supposed to be Ekta Kapoor’s untitled movie. If the reports are to be believed then Karan will be seen hosting a funny game show in the film.

Karan is one of the reputed filmmaker of bollywood. Though he directs only one movie a year but despite of that he managed to remain more popular then any other director. His last directional venture Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna was not much appreciated in India but in overseas he got an overwhelming response for that film.

From sometime, he is continously seen making appearances on TV shows. Now Karan seems to be creating a new trend of directors becoming actors. Well it sounds good to see director facing the camera inspite of just sitting behind it.
