Karan to fight back for his reputation

Karan Johar has found himself in an embarrassing situation. He has been sued for not paying the workers he had hired to work for him. He had hired the workers for Rensil D’Silva’s movie Jihad starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor that was being filmed in the US. Now his company Dharma Productions faces a lawsuit of One Lakh Fifty Thousand Dollars, which it will have to pay if it loses the case.

Karan Johar has come out clarifying saying that he had hired the workers through Swish Films of Melbourne to who he had already made the payments. They are the one who have not paid the workers and they are the ones who should be sued. Karan has decided to pay the money as of now but his legal team is now preparing to take the Swish Films of Melbourne to court and burn a huge hole in their pockets for denting the reputation of his company.

Never before had any allegation like this made against his company. The lawsuit also says that Karan will not be allowed to take the footage of the movie he has filmed over there until he clears all the dues or until the time the case is pending in the court. The entire feud began when the cheques that were given by the Swish Films of Melbourne bounced.

Dharma Productions has paid off some workers on one condition that they will not take any legal action henceforth. Lawyer Michael H. Rosenthal will further strengthen the case by filing another suit on behalf of 60 other actors. Karan will surely be having his thinking cap on hoping for a way to clear all the mess.
