Kareena Kapoor has off late been getting to be very nice friends with Kajol. Kareena has made an addition to the list of best friends she has with Kajol being the newest entrant. Until now, Amrita Arora was the closest friend she had in the industry. She had always admired the work of Kajol. She has apparently been taking her advice on what books to read since Kajol likes reading a lot.

The two have bonded very nicely since the first time they met on the sets of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. In the movie, they played the role of sisters and such was their chemistry in the movie that Karan Johar has signed them for another movie. Karan has apparently bought the rights of Julia Roberts’s starrer Stepmom. Kareena will be playing the role of Julia in the movie whereas Kajol will accompany her.

Kareena is on an all time career high and is currently in New York where she is shooting with Saif Ali Khan for Rensil D’Silva’s movie Jihad. A television channel offering her a huge sum of money to judge a reality shoe has also approached her. At first, she said no but after reconsidering her deciding she seems to have given them the nod ahead. However, official statements about the deal are yet to be made.

Kareena has also expressed her desire to be a part of the celebrations when Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge celebrates their record of 750 continuous weeks at the very famous Maratha Mandir theatre. Going by the camaraderie between the two actresses she will surely be a part of the bash.
