Last year was stunning for Kareena Kapoor. Her performance in the movie “Jab We Met” was simply breathtaking. This movie silenced all her critics who thought that she is only a fashion diva. And this year, she has become the only actress to make it to the Top 10 YOUTH ICONS list.

A reputed newspaper has conducted a survey among youth who are aged between 18-25 years. The survey which was conducted in 10 major cities of India revealed that the only actress who got her name in the top 10 YOUTH ICONS list is Kareena Kapoor. The list also includes Indian Cricket Team Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Shah Rukh Khan, Rahul Gandhi, Aamir Khan and other, but it were NSG commandos who made it to the top of the list.

This year Kareena has got 4 movies in her belt, “Main Aur Mrs. Khanna”, “Kambakkth Ishq”, “3 Idiots” and Karan Johar’s film which is not titled yet. Kareena’s characters in all of these films are very much different. Through these films we would be able to see different aspects of Kareena’s personality. And if she grabs maximum awards this year, it won’t be a shocking experience.

Kareena is also doing an item number in song titled “Mar jani, mar jani” of “Billu Barber” which is Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies production. It was Kareena’s popularity among the masses which led to the release of her item number first. Very few people are aware of the fact that Kareena agreed to do this item song with Shah Rukh only one day before the song’s shooting. See the video of the song and you will know how spectacular she is looking!

So, we have to agree with the Bollywood pundits who are of the view that the year 2009 is going to be a rocking one for Kareena.
