Mallika Sherawat is huge fan of the work of Kay Kay Menon. She had worked with him in the movie Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam that was directed by Sanjay Chhel. She was really impressed by the level of intensity he has on screen. Therefore, when the caste of her upcoming movie Hissss was being finalized she came up with Kay Kay Menon’s name.

When the people finally contacted him and gave him the narration, he to the surprise of everyone turned down the part. He called up Mallika and explained her reason for the refusal. He said the script of the movie was great but he never saw himself fitting in the movie and he even wished her best of luck with the movie. Apparently, Mallika unable to hear no hung up the call in between in state of shock.

However, these things happen and you cannot expect people to sign on when you approach them. Kay Kay Menon is one who is very particular about the script being right as can be seen from the kind of work he had done in movies like Black Friday, Gulaal and Shaurya.
