Kites, which has been directed by Anurag Basu, might very well be the first Indian movie to get a huge opening in Mexico. The reason for that is Barbara Mori who comes from that part of the world. Swine flu may spoil the release and might act as a roadblock but other than that, the movie is all ready to be released over there.

Rakesh Roshan who has produced the movie recently said that the movie has been completely edited and is now ready. He also said that Barbara would only be coming to India during the world premiere of the movie, which will be done some time around Diwali. She has completed all of her work related to the movie. He wished her well wherever she was.

Rajesh Roshan has provided the music to the movie and the songs will be dubbed in English as well as in Spanish. Barbara’s dialogues that will be in Spanish in the movie will have subtitles in English for the audiences. The movie will be two hours and fifteen minutes long, which is perfectly fine. There was a movie in the 80’s starring Kamal Haasan and Rati Agnihotri titled Ek Duje Ke Liye, which had a similar storyline in which they were not able to understand the language the other spoke.

Rakesh has always believed that the next movie he makes has got to better than the previous one but he is not sure how will it get any bigger than this one. He recently was awarded for being the best director of the decade at IIFA.
