Kumar Sanu’s best bollywood songs


Kumar Sanu modeled his singing style after famous bollywood singer, Kishore Kumar for making a career as a playback singer in bollywood industry. And his first breakthrough came in the year 1990 in the form of movie, Aashiqui. He got overnight success after singing the title track of Aashiqui.

He sung total 6 songs for the movie including Saanson ki jaroorat hai jaise, Ab tere bin, Tu meri zindagi hai, Dheere dheere se, Nazar ke saamne and Jaanejigar jaaneman. From that time onwards, he won five consecutive Best Male Playback Filmfare Awards for his superhit songs in Saajan, Deewana etc.

He also appeared as a actor in a Bengali film when his singing career went into decline in late 1990. But once again he hit back with his romantic voice in the movie, Andaaz starring Akshay Kumar and Ishq Vishk. Kumar Sanu also hold the credit of breaking the Guinness world record for the largest number of songs recorded in a single day i.e. 28. Some of his favourite songs are pointed out below:
