If one were following the career graph of Kunal Kapoor it will not take you much time to tell that his career is heading nowhere at this point of time. He has done the best he could have in the short roles that he has been offered. His stay in the movie cannot be termed anything more than a guest appearance. He has been a part of the movies like Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Aaja Nachle, Welcome To Sajjanpur and Bachna Ae Haseeno.

One cannot even recollect what his role was in these movies. You take your eye of the screen for minute or two and you can miss his part. The actor who promised a lot in the movie Rang De Basanti seems to have lost it after giving flops like Hattrick and Parzania. Though the critics have always stood by him he never made the transition to the lead actor.

The only release he is having this year is Lamhaa. Rahul Dholakia with whom he has worked earlier in Parzania will direct the movie. Sharing the screen space with him in the movie will be Sanjay Dutt .He has apparently also bagged a role in the Anurag Kashyap directorial movie Doga that is based on the comic book superhero series.

There has been some clarification though from Kunal’s side that these were the people who believed in him in his hard times and all he was doing was returning the favor back by playing those short parts. He is keeping busy these days by doing some short films that really got him excited. He is currently working on the sets of a shot movie Linger. He plans to do more stuff like this.
