Bollywood romantic flick, Le Chal Apne Sang, written and directed by Vijay Kondke was released in the year 2000. The movie starred Nishant and Akansha in lead roles while Alok Nath, Pratibha Sinha, Sudhir Joshi, Abloo Mukherjee, Raza Murad, Raju Srivastava, Jayant Wadkar, Siddharth Roy, Suresh Chatwal and Beena Banerjee also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by Anil Mohile, Amar Mohile and Vijay Patil in collaboration while the songs were rendered by Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Anuardha Paudwal, Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with an young and handsome guy named Raj ( Nishant ), who is living a middleclass lifestyle alongwith his parents. He is studying in a college. he come across a beautiful girl named Pratibha ( Akansha ), who has just taken admission in the same college. Soon they both falls in love with each other and decides to get married. Pratibha introduces Raj to her father, Yashpal ( Raza Murad ), who is a wealthy businessman. Yashpal straightaway rejects Raj for the marraige.

He forbids Pratibha from seeing him again. Pratibha and Raj then decides to run away to some other city. They manage to escape from there and enters in another city. Raj and Pratibha then decides to get married in a temple. But before they could get married off, Raj is abducted by some goons.
