Madhavan seems to be signing spree of sorts. He has signed on for two movies very recently. There is Aanand Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu and then there is this untitled project of Navdeep Singh. Both the director have received pretty good reviews for their previous movies .Navdeep Singh was the man behind Manorama Six Feet Under which earned the movie and Abhay Deol very goo reviews for the performances put in.

The movie despite having a bad outing at the box office is making huge sums of money from home videos. Same was the case with Aanand Rai who directed the movie Strangers starring Kay Kay Menon, Jimmy Shergill and Nandana Sen. The director have promised a lot in their short career span and probably they will get their due in these movies.

Madhavan who signed on with them says that it was the script that got him on board for the movies. He says that it was the script that made him sign on for 13B and that proved a nice decision and he is hoping that it will be the same case with these movies. He is also having some good movies, which are lining up for release in the time to come.

His movie Sikandar got its released postponed due to the strike at multiplexes. He is having Teen Patti in for which he recently shot in London alongside legendary Sir Ben Kinsley and Amitabh Bachchan. He is also having Three Idiots alongside Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Sharman Joshi, which will be the most anticipated movie of the year. He seems to be doing quality work and the hard work seems to paying off.
