Madhur Bhandarkar’s last movie Fashion was one of the highest grosser’s of the year. There were people saying that the movie will fail at the box office because the audiences will not go to watch an offbeat movie due to the recession. His next movie is Jail in which Neil Nitin Mukesh will be playing the lead role. He recently was spotted at the Thana jail along with the actor and writer to do the research work for the movie and study the character of a prisoner.

He says tha once jail will be released around July he will try to work on different genres. He says that he has an inclination towards making either a musical or a comedy. He say that all the movie he has made so far have had dark areas and the movies try to show the reality to the audiences like Page 3,Fashion and Traffic Signal. He has decided that jail will be wrapped dup in a few months time. The movie was scheduled to released ion may but it was delayed to reasons only known to the director.

The DVD of his movie fashion is set to be released and it is a one you would like to add to your collection. His company Bhandarkar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is also planning to make TV serials. There were some rumors saying that he will be the one who will be directing the serials but he brushed aside the rumors saying that it was all crap. He says that Ashok Pandit and Raman Kumar will be looking after the work, as they have been associated with the TV industry for a longtime.

Madhur Bhandarkar is surely riding the wave of success and he will be hoping that this phase goes on forever in his career but there are always going to be difficulties in the way.
