Over the past few days there have been talks amongst the gossipmongers as to what all possible could have been the possible reasons for the exit of Bipasha Basu from the movie Raavan. Some say that her exit was caused because she posed a threat to Priyamani and Aishwarya Rai with her formidable part of Mandodari. She was caste opposite Abhishek Bachchan to play the role of his wife but her character was so strong that it was overpowering the female leads in the movie.

Bipasha however had a completely different tale to tell. She said that she herself walked out after Mani Sir had a talk with her. Mani Ratnam who is directing the movies sat down with her and told her that he as a director would not be able to do justice to her character and he had foreseen that her character would not turn out in the way, which he had narrated to her.

It was tough decision to take on his part but he took the call and decided to drop the character of Mandodari. So as it stands there is not going to be nay Mandodari in this version of Raavan. She is not loosing heart though and is hopeful that she will get to work with the genius director some time later in the future.

She is very excited about her next release All The Best though, which would be her fifth movie with Ajay Devgan. She says that she hopes the audiences laugh as much as she did while making it or at the time when she had the narration done to her. She plays the role of Ajay’s wife who cons people into joining her gym, which obviously seems to be an empty place.
