Manoj Bajpai is still best remembered for his performance of the underworld don Bhiku Matre in the movie Satya. After putting in some really got and critically acclaimed performance, he got off the track and went under a hiding for some time. Now he is back and is attempting to show his true worth on the box office with successful movies. He has had a few movies that flopped badly and went without even coming to notice of the audiences.

He says the reason for those results were bad marketing strategies. He continues to believe that they were good movies and could have worked. He speaks on the role he has in the movie Acid Factory. He plays the character called sultan in the movie. The story starts with people waking up in an acid factory and all of them are suffering from amnesia. All the characters have dark shades in them and all are trying to make sure that other people do as they say.

He says that his character is very unpredictable and will bring entertainment to the table when he comes on screen. He recollects a particular scene he had to hit a number of cars while driving a lorry. Doing that was tough, as he had to hit multiple cars in a single go. He has set no expectations whatsoever from the movie. As far as songs are concerned they will be playing in the background only as it is a very fast pace movie.

After this, he is having two movies that is Jail directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and Rajneeti, which is being directed by Prakash Jha.
