Imran Khan became the heartthrob of the nation and the new chocolate boy of the industry after he made his debut with the movie Jaan Tu Ya Jaane Naa. Now hearts of millions of girls in the country would be broken, as he has got engaged to his long time girlfriend Avantika Malik. The news has not been made official until now but it is confirmed that Imraan proposed to Avantika and she said yes.

Avantika Malik is the daughter of Vandana Malik who is the head of the Studio 18. Vandana also happens to be a very good friend of Imran’s uncle Aamir Khan. Imran also confirmed the engagement saying that it was only for the family and close one and they are planning to have an engagement for everyone to attend. He divulged no details about the wedding date.

Imran proposed to Avantika in front of everybody on her birthday party, which he hosted on July 18. Amidst all the cheering from family and close friends, Avantika said yes to his proposal and both of them were engaged. The news actually broke out at the Arjun Rampal’s new lounge cum bar where the couple was present and he congratulated them for their engagement and gave them best wishes.

All the big names from Bollywood who were present over there went ahead, congratulated the couple on their engagement and extended their best wishes. Finally, there seems to be a confirmed celebrity engagement and no denials or rumors as was the case with Shilpa Shetty case a few days back. She was clearly upset over the false and baseless rumors generated by the media.
