Movie Review: Jab We Met
Jab We Met is basically the story of two strangers of contrasting personalities meeting on a train. Imtiyaz Ali’s directed movie is all in all a complete romantic film indeed. Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor are looking fresh and good in the movie with their roles.
This movie is different in some respect from the other romantic films made earlier. Shahid and Kareena are looking fabulous together this time on celluloid. Though the story of the movie is predictable enough but still it worth a watch.
The story of Jab We Met revolves around Aditya ( Shahid Kapoorr ) and Geet (Kareena Kapoor). Where Aditya is a calm and quiet industrialist, Geet is a chatterbox who can’t sit for a moment shutting her mouth. Aditya’s girlfriend left him for some other person in her life. Searching for the reason to live life, Aditya aimlessly boards a train where she meets the lovely Geet. Geet wants Aditya to accompany her to her home in Bhatinda. But both Geet and Aditya end with missing the train to their destination. Then the journey of these two different persons starts which continues through the North India’s beautifull places. During the journey Aditya falls in love with Geet. But Geet has some other plans infact. What next…….Keep Guessing or way to cinema hall.
Shahid and Kareena has given sparkling performance this time. Infact Kareena is looking too good in the role of a sikhni from Bhatinda. Dara Singh and Pawan Malhotra played there part quite well. What makes ‘Jab We Met’ watchable is Kareena and Shahid acting with the connection found between the two mismatched souls during a journey. Jab We Met is a wonderful weekend bonanza to watch out.
