Movie Review of Aggar
Aggar is again a thriller directed by Anant Mahadevan. Aggar is an interesting thriller with quite unexpected twist and turns. ‘Aggar’ is not having any big stars in it but it has a gripping storyline with some good acting. Aggar consists passion, betrayal, terror and ofcourse obsession in it.
The story of the movie is somewhat like, Jahnvi ( Udita Goswami) is a business woman who is married to a pshychiatrist Dr. Adi Merchant (Shreyas Talpade). Her life gets changed totally when Aryan (Tushar Kapoor) joins in the event management company of Jahnvi. She started cheating her husband for Tushar but realises her fault very soon. She now wants to quit but Aryan’s obsession doesn’t allow her to do this.
Obsession is a hot favorite thing to show in bollywood movies for every maker. In the second half of the movie, it’s all about the same obsession kind of story. Infact in some scene it’s seems that Tushar Kapoor is trying to act like Shahrukh Khan ( in Darr). Somehow, Tushar manages to carries off his role of an obsessed lover.
Tushar Kapoor has shown some surprising restraint in this movie. Shreyas Talpade also convince with his performance and Udita’s acting is fine enough to see. Shreyas Talpade and Tushar Kapoor both are playing antagonists in the movie. Tushar is playing a mentally upset person who accidently killed his girlfriend( played by Sophie Chaudhary).
Aggar will make you wonder what is in store next after each and every scene. The climax of the movie is also unpredictable. This movie can be termed as a good timepass.
