Multiplex owners try to hit back


Multiplex owners are now trying to go on the offensive. After the producers and distributor delayed their released indefinitely now it is, the multiplex owners who have decided to go on a strike. The people suffering will be still the multiplex owners as they will stop doing the little bit business that they are currently doing and their losses will further mount. The losses currently stand at four crores a day and the multiplexes are running only at four percent of the capacity.

Some of the small producers will also find the heat turning on them, as they were ready to release their movie by going against the forum, which even united Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan. They are trying to benefit from less competition at the box office as there are no big banner is releasing their movies. The multiplexes are planning to shut down since 1 May.

As was the case with moviemakers some of the multiplex owners are also not ready to completely shot down their business and they want to keep own with whatever movies they have to show on their screens. Ramesh Sippy was heard commenting that if they are on a strike so be it. They had expressed their thoughts and now the multiplex owners have to come out with a solution.

The ball seems to be back in the court of the multiplex owners and it looks like they just cannot keep it. They will need to return it at some point. Multiplex owners might very soon find out that shutting down completely might not have been such a good ideas they could have still made some money by releasing the movies that want to be released.
