For all those who don’t know Mushtaq Sheikh writes screenplays for the movies. The writer is currently enjoying the success of his latest flicks Luck By Chance and Billo Barber. He is not being carried away by the success though. The writer is a friend of Shah Rukh and is blessed by the choices Shah Rukh has made. He shares a special bond with the actor. He has also written a number of books mostly on the life or work of Shahrukh Khan. The writer also wrote the screenplay for Shahrukh starrer Om Shanti Om.

The writer can also be seen in Luck By Chance for a split second just before Shahrukh begins a chat with Farhan. He says that it is a blessing to have a person like Shahrukh around you. The writer says that after working with Shahrukh for so long, he knows what Shahrukh likes and therefore this makes it easier for him to write for his films.

The writer clarifies that it is not because of the friendship that he is getting to write the screen plays for his movies. He is getting the job because he is talented and deserves it. However, the friendship surely provides him with more space to work with. The actor also shares a good relationship with his directors, which makes his work environment more fun. He has worked with the renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan more than once.
