Naseeruddin Shah is one person who will make sure that he is noticed whatever part he plays. An example of that that was visible in the moive Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na that was directed by Abbas Tyrewala. In the entire movie, he was inside a photograph and had very few dialogues but even in those few dialogues, he managed to get a smile on the faces of the audiences.

Ratna Pathak who played the wife of Naseer in the movie also put in a good performance. Abbas in fact considers the two of them to be his lucky mascots.
