Bollywood action comedy drama, Naukar Biwi Ka, directed by Raj Kumar Kohli was released on July 14, 1983. The movie starred Dharmendra and Anita Raj in lead roles while A. K. Hangal, Rajeev Anand, Raj Babbar, Pran, Danny Denzongpa, Brahamchari, Jankidas, Neeta Mehta, Vinod Mehra, Madan Puri and Om Prakash also played significant characters in the film. The hit evergreen music of the movie was composed by the well known music director Bappi Lahiri while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhonsle.

Inspector Amar ( Vinod Mehra ) get married to a poor girl named Sheetal against the wish of his rich father, Bishamber Nath. Bishamber Nath then asks them to leave his house. Amar and Sheetal moves out oof the house and starts living somehere else. Soon they become the proud parents of a babay child, Jyoti. Amar come across a couple and arranges a child marriage of their daughter with their child named Deepak. Amar is then attacked by some criminals and is killed by them. His wife also get killed by them. But their loyal friver, Abdul ( Pran ) saves jyoti from the criminals and escapes from there. He delivers Jyoti to Bishamer Nath.

Years later, Deepak ( Dharmendra ) is now a grown up guy and so is Jyoti ( Anita Raj ). Jyoti has became used to the wealthy lifestyel and refuse to get married to a poor Deepak. Deepak then decides to teach her a lesson. Circumstances forces Jyoti to present Deepak as her husband in front of her grandfather. Soon Deepak manage to win the heart of Grandpa. But he still fails to make Jyoti fall in love with him. Jyoti’s hearts also starts getting attracted towards Deepak after spending some quality time with him. But she still doesn’t want to get married to him.
